Terminating Term Limits

ArnoldWatchers hear that Arnold and Democratic legislative leaders are close to a deal over the extra November election that would add yet another initiative to the ballot; this one to unravel the state's term limits law. Sure, Dem leaders are as desperate to save their own jobs as the Gov is to pump up his poll numbers. Say what you will about the benefits and weaknesses of term limits, but a bi-partisan "save our ass" strategy is likely to backfire. "No in November" will be an even more popular slogan if voters get to say no to the Gov who has let them down and a legislature they like even less.
